Bowls -

 

Wallsend Bowling Club is recognized as one of the leading forces of Bowls in  the Newcastle region. The Club provides both competition and social bowls for Men and Women bowlers throughout the year.

The Club boasts 3 excellent greens maintained in top condition by our team of experienced green keepers. The team  look after our gardens and plants and manicured surrounds assisted by a small crew of enthusiastic volunteers.

 

 

 

 

Social Bowls –
We encourage and support the sport of lawn bowls, we invite new players to join and learn the great game of skill and patience .
As part of our training for new and established bowlers we offer free tuition by qualified coaches .

 

Greens are open Tuesday to Sunday , ( rollups on Mondays after 12.30pm ) , social bowls are held throughout the week :

 

Tuesday                - Women’s gala  - 09.30am
                             - Men’s nominated Pairs – 1.00pm

Wednesday          - Women’s Club Championships

Thursday              - Men’s Nominated 3’s    - 9.30am

                             - Daylight saving time- Nominated pairs ( mixed or any) – 5.00pm.

Friday                   - Mixed Nominated Mufti 3’s  - 1.00pm

Saturday               - Men’s nominated 3’s gala     -  1.00pm

Sunday                 - Club Championships

1. Mixed Pairs ( second Sunday of month ) – 1.00pm.
